IBM has appointed Mr. Eric CW Yeo as the Country General Manager of IBM Vietnam, taking over from Mr. Jee Toon Tan, who has been named Regional Director for ASEAN Analytics.

“IBM Vietnam has delivered solid performance in the past few years under Jee Toon’s leadership, with a balanced business portfolio performance,” Mr. Yeo said.

“I am excited to be appointed Country General Manager of IBM Vietnam and it is my privilege to build on the good work that Jee Toon and his team have achieved and contributed to our strong growth trajectory.”

Mr. Yeo brings to the role extensive knowledge of and experience in markets in the region. In his most recent capacity as ASEAN General Manager of Digital Sales, Coverage Sales and High Growth Cities, based in Singapore, he led an award-winning team of brand and business solution experts to leverage innovative technologies to bring about business values in the areas of Cloud, Big Data & Analytics, and Mobility.

Through various senior leadership roles he held at IBM ASEAN and IBM Singapore, Mr. Yeo has developed a deep understanding of emerging markets and how to forge strong relationships through a network of partners and bring higher value to clients.

Some of his previous leadership positions include Regional Director for ASEAN Business Partners Organization and Regional Director for ASEAN Software Group Channels.

He also spearheaded government relationships in information technology between Singapore and the Czech Republic.

Prior to joining IBM Mr. Yeo ran his own business and pursued a post-graduate degree in Melbourne, Australia.
