Let's Feast Vietnam, brought to you by BHD Production and Meta Company, in collaboration with the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports' International Co-operation Department, will feature some of the most talented content creators and celebrities from across Asia.
With five thrilling episodes, Let's Feast Vietnam promises to take viewers on a culinary adventure through the country's most tantalising destinations. Seven teams will battle it out in exciting challenges, showcasing the very best of Vietnam's culture, cuisine and hospitality.
From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the breathtaking natural beauty of Ha Long Bay, and the vibrant city life of HCM City to the stunning beaches of Phu Quoc Island, Let's Feast Vietnam is the ultimate guide to exploring the country.
"Let's Feast Vietnam will help popularise culture tourism, one of 12 cultural industries that the Government is promoting," said Tran Hai Van, deputy head of the International Co-operation Department at a press conference in Hanoi.
"The show's production takes advantage of the important role of tourism in economic development. Additionally, the government seeks to develop tourism in coordination with cultural and creative industries."
At the show, the contestants will create video clips of popular Vietnamese culture, tourism and cuisine for millions of followers on social platforms.
"Tourism and cuisine are among the content to be produced and followed the most on our Facebook and Instagram," said Khoi Le, Meta's Vietnam national director. "Let's Feast Vietnam is a rare chance for the creators to discover Vietnamese people and culture and popularise it to an international audience in a new way. The show is our continuing effort to develop a digital economy after the COVID-19 pandemic and build a national tourism brand."
The contestants are from Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea and Vietnam.
"I don't know what to expect at the very beginning of the show," said Miss Charm 2023 second-runner-up Olivia Tan from Indonesia. "I’m teamed up with Kaylee even though we just met here. She’s from the Republic of Korea, I’m from Indonesia, and we just met here in Vietnam to become a team."
Miss Universe Vietnam runner-up Thao Nhi Le and content creator food blogger Vu Dino represent the Vietnamese team at the show.
The winning team will be awarded prizes worth US$30,000. The show will be aired in July across Asia.
