VietNamNet Bridge - Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Nghe An Province – Mr. Ho Duc Phoc – and Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Tho Province – Mr. Hoang Dan Mac – have been elected as the Party Secretary of the two provinces, replacing Mr. Phan Dinh Trac and Nguyen Doan Khanh, who have been appointed as the vice chiefs of the Central Commission of Internal Affairs.

On March 12, in Vinh City, the Nghe An Party Executive Committee held an extraordinary session to elect the new Party Secretary to replace Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, who was earlier appointed as the vice head of the Central Commission of Internal Affairs.

Mr. Ho Duc Phoc was the only nominee for the position and he won the 100 percent of the vote. Accordingly, Phoc will hold the position until 2015.

The same day, the Phu Tho Party Standing Committee summoned the 15th Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference to elect the new Party Secretary for the 2010-2015 term, replacing Mr. Nguyen Doan Khanh who is now the vice head of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs.

Earlier, the Politburo recommended Mr. Hoang Dan Mac, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Tho Province as the nominee for the post. Mac was elected with 100 percent of votes.
