Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai of Hanoi T&T won the best goal of the season award in V. League 1, the event’s organising board has announced.

Hai made the goal in the match between Hanoi and Quang Ninh in the first round.

After six rounds, Hai has earned the distinction of being the most remarkable star of the national premier league. His goals have helped his team rank third in the standings with 11 points.

Currently, Hai is a member of the U-20 football team which will take part in the U-20 World Cup to be held in May.

FLC Thanh Hoa, which top the rankings, won the best team award, while coach Ljubo Petrovic of Thanh Hoa won the best coach of the season award.

The best player award went to Dinh Thanh Trung of Quang Nam. He scored a hat-trick in the match against Quang Ninh Coal in the fourth round.
