Tran Phu Beach stretches more than 10 kilometres in the centre of Nha Trang. It is easy to see many resorts and hotels blocking entry to the beach.

Last year, Evason Ana Mandara Resort covering 28,000 square metres on Tran Phu Street was relocated.

Walls and fences of the resort have been removed; allowing people to now enjoy the view of Tran Phu Beach.

Meanwhile, some facilities of the resort have been maintained to serve the city’s cultural and community activities.

Tran Thi Hoai, 65, a local resident said that she was very happy to see Tran Phu Beach become more open.

Nguyen Tan Tuan, chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, said local authorities were taking drastic measures to deal with beach-blocking works.
