The festival will run following the Ever Glamor Nha Trang international light show festival between June 1 and June 22 in 2023. It aims to create a series of events which will kick off the summer tourism season in Khanh Hoa province.

The international light show festival will draw the participation of four teams from the Republic of Korea, China, India, and hosts Vietnam taking place throughout the weekend.

The winner will go on to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Nha Trang Sea Festival which will involve a light show featuring drones which reenact stories about the history, culture, and people of Khanh Hoa.

During the festival there will be a total of 120 booths display tourism products of Khanh Hoa province, as well as other localities across the country. Many activities will get underway as part of the framework of the festival, including a fruit festival, fashion shows, jazz performances, and exchanges on cinema.

The province is expected to attract thousands of visitors throughout its duration.

The Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is held every two years and has become a trademark of the beach resort city since 2003. In 2021, the festival was suspended due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, Khanh Hoa province welcomed a total of 2.57 million tourists, raking in nearly VND14 trillion in tourism revenue in the process.

This year, it aims to attract four million tourists, including 1.5 million foreign visitors, and earning approximately VND21 trillion.
