The number of boarding gates at the airport’s Terminal 1 (which serves domestic flights) will increase to 16 while additional parking lots will be arranged at runway S1 to cope with overloading during the Tet holidays.

The airport’s staff is ordered to have appropriate behaviour when contacting with passengers.
Meanwhile, the repair of Terminal 1 will be halted from February 12 and the work will be resumed on February 21.
Measures will be taken to ensure social order and traffic safety at the airport.

Safety examinations must be paid due attention to the busiest airports like Noi Bai, Vinh, Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Tan Son Nhat, Phu Quoc and Can Tho.
The airlines must coordinate with relevant agencies to penalise any violations of security rules or unruly passengers.
