The northern and central region of Vietnam is forecasted to experience a new hot spell from today, June 19.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecast, the hot weather would last until June 23 across the north and central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen, with the highest temperature ranging up to 40 degrees Celsius.   

The northern and central region of Vietnam is forecasted to experience a new hot spell from today, June 19.

The northern delta and midland region are predicted to have temperatures of between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius. The central region would see temperatures of 36-39 degrees Celsius.

Some areas are forecasted to experience temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius.

From June 19 to 23, Hanoi would suffer from the hot spell with the temperature ranging between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius. Rains are also forecasted.

During this time, rains are also predicted to occur in southeastern and northwestern areas. Localities from Danang City to Binh Thuan Province and the central highlands region would see rains and strong winds by late afternoon.
