The first iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus hit the world market in September 2016, but the products have yet to be distributed by authorized dealers.

Apple announced that some more Asian markets, such as South Korea and Thailand, would have iPhone 7s by October. Apple fans in Egypt can get the first iPhone 7 on October 20, with Columbia on October 21, together with Cameroon

Meanwhile, there is no exact date about the iPhone 7’s launching day in Vietnam on Apple’s website.

The representatives of FPT Shop and The Gioi Di Dong, the largest distribution chains, told Bizlive that genuine iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus may arrive in Vietnam in early or mid-November.

Prior to that, the retailers said iPhone 7 would be available in Vietnam in late October.

Some sources said iPhone 7 may not be available in Vietnam through official channels by the end of October as hoped.
The information has disappointed Vietnamese customers. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus do not have considerable differences in appearance compared with the previous generations, but they are still wanted by Vietnamese thanks to the significant upgrade in hardware.

The products use Apple A10 Fusion which allows a processing speed 40 percent faste and graphics speed 50 percent faster compared with iPhone 6S.

As such, Vietnamese Apple’s fans have to buy iPhone 7s from private shops. The products are brought to Vietnam across border gates, or imported through unofficial channels.

“I cannot wait any longer to get a genuine iPhone 7. I think I’ll buy a product at a private shop. I cannot understand why Apple does not launch soon in Vietnam which is a very promising market,” said Tran Hong Ha, a university student.

iPhone 7 is sold in Vietnam at VND17 million for 32GB version and VND19 million for 128GB, while iPhone 7 Plus is priced at VND22 million and VND24.5 million, respectively, for 32GB and 128 GB.

Like many customers around the world, Vietnamese especially favor iPhone 7 Plus with Jet Black color. Apple’s shops don’t have Jet Black yet to sell, but Vietnamese TecHland, The Gioi Di Dong and FPT Shop have Jet Black.

The official price of Jet Black 356GB set by Apple is $969, or VND21.6 million, while at TecHLand it is VND30.5 million.
