The incident happened on Quan Su Street, Hoan Kiem District, on the evening of June 14, injuring five passers-by on two motorbikes, including two children.    

According to a witness, at that time when the case occurred, there were no heavy rains and strong winds.

Right after the incident, two ambulances were sent to the scene to take the victims to hospital. Police also came there immediately for traffic control. Meanwhile, one of the motorbikes was damaged.    

The uprooted Flame tree, which is around eight metres high, is just some metres from Museum of Vietnamese Workers and Labour Union.
