The incident occurred at 7 am. The front wall collapsed completely and damaged the adjacent house. The scene was blocked at 8.30 am so that the authorities could search for any victims and clean up the rubble.

According to the locals, the house's frontage was being repaired. The work was often done at night. However, after rain the previous night, the front walls on both floors collapsed.

The authorities found and rescued a guard who was stuck inside. The cause of the collapse is being investigated.
