Hanging flower baskets are for sale on the streets of Hoang Hoa Tham, Lac Long Quan, and Kim Nguu. Pots of brightly coloured petunias are selling particularly well.

   The pretty purple fuchsia flower is considered a good luck charm for families. It is popular among many customers as a decoration for their balconies during Tet. 

    Azaleas are one of the most sought after ornamental flowers around the world. They are a symbol of wealth and prosperity during Tet. The price of each flower pot ranges between VND200,000 and VND3 million.

     A trader in Lac Long Quan Street, Tay Ho district says he imports a large quantity of hanging flowers to meet the increase in demand as Tet draws near.

     Gerberas are considered to bring good fortune and wealth to families during Tet and are chosen by many buyers.

  A small flower pot of petunia is priced at VND30,000-50,000. It can be hung from balconies, windows, or in living rooms to bring a floral charm to the living space. 

 The prices of larger petunia flower pots vary from VND 200.000 - 300.000. 

  A pot of tulip flowers is priced from VND100,000 – VND120,000 each.

 A trader says that ornamental plants and flowers are selling very well, tripling the sales figures of last year. From the 15th of December (lunar month) to now, his flower shop has been selling around 100 hanging flower pots each day.
