Authority of Information Security under Ministry of Information & Communications yesterday held a conference in Hue city to instruct law policies and technological measures for ensuring information security.

The agency reported that more than 14,000 smart-phones in Vietnam were installed Ptracker spying software to follow personal information of users. 

Of these, there were 77 percent of malwares spreading via multi-media devices, 68 percent via computers and 23 percent via mobile devices and 49 percent of Internet. 

In 2014, Vietnam had 19,000 information security incidents being warned with the volume up to 43.93 Gpbs.
