The 44th New Hanoi Newspaper Run for Peace will be held this Sunday at Hoan Kiem Lake.

More than 1,500 athletes will take part in the annual tournament, which offers separate categories and prizes for professional and amateur runners.

In the pro events, women will run three laps - equivalent to 5,250m - around Hoan Kiem Lake. The men will complete five laps, around 8,750m.

In the amateur category, students, workers, soldiers and expats, including several ambassadors, will compete in different distances, ranging from 1,730m to 5,250m.
