On June 26, the parents of Aiden Webb, a 22-year-old British man who died climbing Vietnam’s highest mountain, plunged to his death after slipping down a steep waterfall, expressed their gratitude and gratefulness to all those involved in the search and recovery of their son's body.

Aiden Webb, from Norwich, was solo climbing Fansipan, the highest mountain in the country at more than 10,000 ft, when he fell, injured himself and lost his way.

He remained in contact with his girlfriend, who was in a nearby town, until his phone went dead.

The body of Aiden was found on June 9.

Besides, Aiden’s parents also revealed the cause of his death that Aiden's body was found on the 9th of June by a team of seven comprising Sapa police, military police and local men.

An investigation was made following the recovery of Aidens body. The findings show that around 7am on the 4th of June Aiden fell down a18 meter waterfall, he died upon impact with the water of the plunge pool at its base.
