Linh's father has often stood at stations in Japan to ask for signatures

The 9-year-old girl Le Thi Nhat Linh was found dead near a drainage ditch about 10 km from the school in Chiba Prefecture late March 2017.

Suspect Yasumasa Shibuya who was arrested on April 14, was prosecuted on charges of murdering and abandoning the body of the girl.

The prosecutors made the decision based on a DNA sample taken from the victim’s body that matched Shibuya and hair found in the suspect’s car matched the victim’s DNA.

Shibuya has reportedly remained silent and has not yet been brought to the court since his arrest.

Linh’s parents have continued seeking people’s signatures across the world to submit them to Japanese authorities. This is aimed to urge them to speed up the trial.

According to Linh’s father Le Anh Hao, he does not know when the trial will be conducted.

Since his daughter died, the father has often stood at stations in Japan to ask for signatures.

Linh’s mother Nguyen Thi Nguyen has sent 31,000 signatures to the Japanese authorities.

People in Vietnam can sign and write their address based on the form on the link http://partime.biz/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/tuhinh.pdf and then send the paper to Linh’s grandmother Vu Thi Te who lives in Tra Phuong Village, Thuy Huong Commune, Kien Thuy District, Haiphong City.

Addresses must be clearly written and people need to write their signatures.
