After a decade since her last performance in Vietnam, Park Bom, the lead vocalist of 2NE1, expressed her joy and gratitude for the support of her fans during a brief press conference on September 22 ahead of her concert in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 20-minute press conference saw Park Bom, known for her powerful vocals, discussing her career, personal life, and offering heartfelt advice to young people in Vietnam.

Dressed in a sweet yet slightly anxious demeanor ahead of the important concert, Park Bom shared that the artist who has influenced her career the most is Ariana Grande, and she expressed her hope of collaborating with the pop icon in the future.

When asked about her personal interests, Park Bom passionately stated, "Music is my greatest passion. Other than singing, I don't have any other hobbies."

Reflecting on her past, Park Bom, born in 1984, nostalgically mentioned her desire to return to the early days of 2NE1’s debut, moving many fans in the audience. She also encouraged young Vietnamese fans, telling them to never give up on their dreams, reminding them that with perseverance and hard work, anything is possible.

Before the press conference concluded, Park Bom thanked her supporters: "I am grateful for the love and encouragement you have shown me. I hope tonight's concert will bring everyone joy and excitement."

The PARK BOM Special Fan Concert in Vietnam will take place for one night only at Ho Chi Minh City's Hoa Binh Theater on the evening of September 22. During the concert, Park Bom is set to perform 10 songs, including her popular hits like You & I, Don't Cry, and Spring. She will also debut her newest song live, promising an emotional experience for her fans.

Following her Vietnam concert, Park Bom will reunite with 2NE1 for a global tour to celebrate the group’s 15th anniversary, kicking off in early October 2024.

Park Bom, born in 1984, is a well-known South Korean singer who rose to fame as a member of the legendary girl group 2NE1. She is admired for her powerful, high-pitched vocals and her sweet, charming appearance. Park Bom’s musical career is closely tied to hits like You & I and Don't Cry. After 2NE1 disbanded in 2016, she left YG Entertainment and signed with D-Nation Entertainment in 2018, releasing her solo single Spring.
