Growers in Hanoi's Nhat Tan Ward are busy cultivating their peach trees for Tet Holiday.
Many flowers have bloomed sooner than previous years because of the warm weather. Growers are trying to prevent the flowers from blooming and hope that the cold will continue until Tet which is still over a month away.
Early-blooming trees do not have good prices at the moment. The growers said they would be lucky to find buyers for the trees or else they would have to keep them for next year.
According to the growers, most of the flowers will bloom in the next three weeks.
Many people are already selling the peach flowers at Quang An Market but there are few customers.
