The 10th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2026 officially opened in the southern city of Dong Nai on July 17, bringing together nearly 300 athletes from nine Asian countries and territories.

On the same mat, on the same day of competition at SEA Games 33, the referees unexpectedly became the main characters - not for their precision, but for a string of decisions that sparked an emotional storm.

The curtain fell on the 9th Asian Pencak Silat Championship on July 30 in the central province of Ha Tinh, wrapping up six days of thrilling, high-intensity competition.

Athletes from 11 countries will compete in Ha Tinh from July 24–31 in a tournament that highlights Vietnam’s rising regional sports profile.
