Phan Thien Dinh was re-elected as chairman of the Ha Tinh People’s Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

Born in 1971 and a native of Thuan An ward in Hue City, he has held a range of key positions, including director of the Department of Planning and Investment of the former Thua Thien Hue province, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, secretary of Thuan Hoa district, head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Hue City People’s Council, and chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee.

In November 2024, he was appointed and transferred to serve as deputy secretary of the Ha Tinh provincial Party Committee. He was subsequently elected chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Speaking after his appointment, Phan Thien Dinh expressed his determination to work with the provincial leadership to promote unity and strive to fulfill socio-economic development goals, while improving living standards for local residents.

The Ha Tinh People’s Committee is currently led by Chairman Phan Thien Dinh, with three vice chairpersons: Tran Bau Ha as standing vice chairman, Ho Huy Thanh, and Nguyen Thi Nguyet.

At the same session, the provincial People’s Council also re-elected Nguyen Hong Linh, standing deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee, as chairman of the People’s Council for the 2026-2031 term. The two vice chairpersons are Duong Tat Thang, serving as standing vice chairman, and Nguyen Thi Viet Ha.
