As the holidays approach, many Hanoians took to Hoai Duc district to enjoy their time. In comparison to normal days, the area welcomed over three times the average number of arrivals. Many visitors struggled to park their vehicles with the parking area full. The swimming pool was densely packed with guests enjoying their free time. Queues snaked around the premises as people wait in line. Many of the area’s services were running at full capacity. Thousands of visitors wait in the dining area. Cat Ba island in Haiphong city is a popular destination for tourists during the holiday season. The island is expected to welcome thousands of visitors each day. The beach is usually packed full of visitors during the weekend, whilst the number of arrivals is set to increase drastically during the holidays. Cat Ba island is a hit among both domestic and foreign tourists thanks to its wild beauty and clean beaches. The island’s beaches often close before 6pm each day whilst the price of an average hotel rooms also doubles. Cua Lo Beach in Nghe An province is often crowded throughout the day during the holiday season. Cua Lo Tourism Festival opened on April 25. Last year, the festival received 2.8 million arrivals with 3.1 million arrivals expected this year. For many visitors to the province’s beaches, fresh seafood is a popular dish.
