A pod of dolphins, each over two metres long, were spotted swimming off the shore of a beach near Mui Dien Cape in Dong Hoa Town in the central coastal province of Phu Yen on April 13.

Nghinh Phong (Welcoming Wind) tower square, located on the coast of Tuy Hoa city, the south-central province of Phu Yen, is the only representative from Southeast Asia to have received the 2023 Asian Urban Landscape Award.

The central province of Phu Yen has become the first locality in Vietnam to build a cinema culture index, promising to effectively lure domestic and international film crews.

The stone musical instrument is one of the world’s oldest, and has recently been attracting the attention of local youngsters eager to play at provincial tourist destinations.

Tourists and local people enjoyed a majestic spectacle of a pod of dolphins swimming off the shore of Bai Mon Beach- Mui Dien Cape of the central coastal province of Phu Yen on May 14.

Vietnam remains an important part of the US-led Pacific Partnership 2022 (PP22), said US Consul General in HCM City Marie C. Damour at the PP22 launching ceremony in Tuy Hoa city, the south-central coast province of Phu Yen on June 20 evening.

Nguyen Van Tuyen, a 38-year-old man from Phu Yen, has successfully designed and produced environmentally-friendly plates made from the leaves of sea grape, a tropical tree.

Phu Yen will host several multi-million-dollar tuna auctions in the future following a memorandum of understanding it signed with Japan’s Kiyomura Corporation, said Phu Yen's Vice Chair Ho Thi Nguyen Thao.
