The PM has decided to establish a central steering board on salary policy reform, social insurance and policies for people with special contributions to the nation.

Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue is chairman of the board. Three vice chairmen include the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Minister of Finance.

Other members of the board are leaders of some ministries and agencies.

The PM has appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ha Cong Tuan, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep and Deputy Minister of Justice Tran Tien Dung as members of the Government Steering Committee for Administrative Reform.

The PM has signed a Decision to amend and supplement to Decision No. 765/QD-TTg dated May 22, 2013, on consolidation of the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Affairs.

Accordingly, a Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and a Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam are assigned as members of the Committee.

The PM has inked a Decision to amend and supplement to Decision No. 389/QD-TTg on National Steering Committee for fighting smuggling, commercial frauds and counterfeit goods.

Specifically, a Deputy PM is appointed as head of the Committee. Deputy heads consist of the Minister of Finance (permanent deputy head), the Minister of Public security, a Deputy Minister of Defense and a Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Other members include Deputy Ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, Home Affairs, Justice, Agriculture and Rural Development, Health, Transport, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Information and Communications, a Deputy Chairman of the Government Office, a deputy head of the Government Inspectorate, a Vice General Director of Viet Nam Television and a Vice General Director of the Voice of Viet Nam.

The PM has signed a Decision to appoint Director of the Viet Nam National University -Ho Chi Minh City Huynh Thanh Dat as President of the Viet Nam National University -Ho Chi Minh City Council.
