At around 10 p.m. on June 26, while on patrol along Hue Street, members of Task Force Y22-141 stopped two young men riding a motorcycle without wearing helmets.

During the inspection, officers discovered that one suspect's mobile phone contained numerous photographs showing him with a group of teenagers carrying weapons, indicating possible involvement in a public disorder incident at the Vinhomes Ocean Park urban area.

Earlier, in the early hours of June 23, the Crime Prevention Unit of Hoang Liet Ward Police discovered two groups of teenagers armed with weapons fighting near Linh Dam Lake. Officers quickly intervened and brought those involved to police headquarters for questioning.

According to the preliminary investigation, the two groups had initially encountered each other near a petrol station on Tran Phu Street in Ha Dong Ward. Following an argument, they began chasing and attacking one another. The confrontation continued after both groups reached the Linh Dam Lake area.

During the investigation, Hoang Liet Ward Police identified the suspects involved, seized seven motorcycles and one metal pipe, and placed 10 individuals in criminal detention for investigation on charges of disturbing public order.

Police are continuing to investigate the case and determine the role of each suspect before handling the matter in accordance with Vietnamese law.
