The video clip turned up on the internet on July 3. An MC appeared in the clip and interviewed nine students in school uniform in front of the Cao Thang High School in Hue City.

To the questions about how the students did their exam work, how difficult the exam questions were and how the students felt when attending the exams, the interviewees gave humorous answers.

A male student who introduced himself as a student of BTX High School, said: “The exam questions were written in clear way, the exam room was airy, and the teacher was so sexy that I could not concentrate on my exam papers.."

Another student said he did not care about how many exam scores he will get, he only thought about the score of the semifinal football match.

The Thua Thien – Hue provincial Education and Training Department has asked the police to conduct an investigation into a video clip ridiculing the national high-school finals on the internet.
Meanwhile, a female student, said: “I just attended the exam for form's sake. My exam scores will be arranged by my father."

The clip has attracted thousands of views so far since it was posted on the internet. However, viewers think in different ways about it.

While older people said it was excessive, young and middle-aged men were more tolerant.

However, the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Education and Training Department believes this is unacceptable behavior, especially in Hue City, a locality famous for respect for learning.

The department has asked the police to help investigate the clip which has become well known in the country.

However, it is not the group of students, but the local education department which has received criticism from the public.

Thanh Hang, a reporter, commented on Giao Thong Van Tai: “The behavior by the director of the education department has really disappointed people. I cannot understand what the education department’s director wants to investigate once the video clip does not violate the current laws?

"Though the students have gone a bit too far and the words they use are not standard ones, they are just being mischievous."

Nguyen Duc Thanh from the Hanoi National University, said: “The way the local authorities responded to the clip shows the complex and weak capability of facing diverse reactions from society to what they are doing."
