Presenting the appointments, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien congratulated the newly appointed officials and emphasized that Party inspection, supervision and disciplinary work remain a vital leadership instrument.

He said these functions enable the Party to strengthen self-governance, safeguard discipline, exercise oversight of power and reinforce public confidence in both the Party and the State.

For the National Assembly Party Committee, he noted, Party building, political work, organizational development and inspection responsibilities have become increasingly demanding in both scope and complexity, requiring strict adherence to Party principles while continuously improving working methods.

Do Van Chien urged the Inspection Commission and its members to further raise awareness among Party organizations and members about the importance of inspection and supervision.

He stressed that inspection should focus not only on detecting and handling violations but, more importantly, on preventing misconduct before it occurs.

The Permanent Vice Chairman also called for a more proactive approach to inspection and supervision, combining regular oversight with planned inspections and strengthening early warning mechanisms alongside strict enforcement when violations arise.

He added that the Inspection Commission should operate as a streamlined, professional and disciplined organization staffed by politically steadfast, ethically responsible and highly qualified officials capable of carrying out their duties with fairness, objectivity and integrity.
