The Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee this morning held a conference to announce the Politburo’s decision on personnel work.

The Politburo decided to mobilize, assign and appoint Duong Quoc Huy, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Inspector General of the Government, to join the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Standing Board, and to serve as Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

At the conference, Le Minh Hung, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, presented the Politburo’s decision to Duong Quoc Huy.

Duong Quoc Huy was born in 1974 in Hung Yen province. He holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Over the course of his career, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Inspectorate Magazine, Chief of Office of the Government Inspectorate, Director General of Department I under the Government Inspectorate, and Deputy Inspector General of the Government.
