VietNamNet Bridge - A presentation by sound designer Morinaga Yasuhiro will be held at 2pm, July 21 in Hanoi by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange as part of its cultural exchange activities in 2017.

In this presentation, which will take place at the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, 27 Quang Trung Street, Hoan Kiem District, Morinaga Yasuhiro will talk about sound design in terms of art (film, performing arts) and introduce his works.

After graduatingfrom Tokyo University of the Arts, Morinaga went to France and followed guidance from musician – film critic Michel Chion. 

Back in Japan, he undertook fieldwork mainly in Asia, recording live sounds as well as music at local rituals and festivals, and carrying out compositions in many places. 

He is now the brand director of concrete.
