President Tran Dai Quang received Victoria Kwakwa, Regional Vice President for East Asia and Pacific of the World Bank (WB) in Hanoi on May 19.

The State leader said he hopes the bank will continue to support Vietnam in infrastructure development and climate change response.

He also pledged to use funding for sustainable development effectively.

For her part, Kwakwa said she believes cooperation between Vietnam and the World Bank will continue to prosper and will be a successful model for other countries.
