According to Senior Colonel Thang, large tourist carriers are among leading causes of traffic congestions in the capital city.

In response to the situation, competent agencies, responsible for licensing tourism companies to operate their tourist carriers in all streets around the clock, should revise the policy and withdraw all wrongly granted licenses to avoid the kind of passenger vehicles worsening the traffic situation in Hanoi.

In fact, Decision No. 6/2013 / QD-UBND issued on 21-1-2013 by the Hanoi People's Committee limits operations of all traffic means in a number of the city’s areas and belt-roads.

If competent agencies and tourism companies strictly observe the decision, tourist carriers from other provinces cannot go into the city center, particularly in peak hours.
