VietNamNet Bridge – The coast of the central province of Quang Binh is now covered with all kinds of wastebrought in by flood water.
After three days of flooding caused by heavy rains, Bao Ninh beach in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh province has turned black because of twigs and garbage.
All kinds of waste was swept to the sea by flood water and then washed ashore. Large waves also eroded multiple layers of sand on the beach. In the recent floods Quang Binh suffered heavy losses, with 93,000 houses flooded and cattle, poultry and property damaged.
On October 19, the beach had an odor of decomposing animal carcasses.
Due to the effects of tropical depression combined with cold air, heavy rains were reported in several central provinces from the night of October 13.
At the same time a hydropower dam in the region discharged water, causing record floods in Quang Binh and Ha Tinh provinces.
