According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting, by this morning, January 21, the cold has hit northeastern localities and the northern central province of Thanh Hoa. The temperature is ranging from 12 to 15 degrees centigrade.

The centre said that the chilly cold will continue affecting the northern region and then expand more to northern central localities.

The Gulf of Tokin and the East of East Sea will have strong winds and rough sea.

Hanoi has been predicted to have temperatures of 12-15 degrees and centigrade today and some days to come.

Central provinces from Quang Binh and Binh Dinh will see rains with the rainfall of 40-80mm within 24 hours.
