Leaders of the parliaments of Laos, China and Cambodia have extended congratulations to Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man following his re-election.

On the occasion of National Assembly Chairman of the 15th tenure Tran Thanh Man being re-elected as Chairman of the 16th National Assembly, leaders of the parliaments of Laos, China and Cambodia have sent congratulatory messages.
President of the National Assembly of Laos Saysomphone Phomvihane expressed his pleasure at Tran Thanh Man’s re-election, describing it as a reflection of the trust and high regard of the Party, State and people of Vietnam.
He expressed confidence that with his capability and extensive experience, Tran Thanh Man will lead the National Assembly to effectively fulfill its functions, duties and powers, thereby contributing significantly to Vietnam’s nation-building and development, while enhancing the country’s prestige and standing in the region and globally.
Saysomphone Phomvihane also expressed his desire to continue working closely with Tran Thanh Man and the Vietnamese National Assembly to further strengthen and promote the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic attachment between the two Parties, States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
He added that he expects relations between the two legislatures to continue deepening and bearing fruitful results.

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Zhao Leji also extended his congratulations.
China and Vietnam are neighboring socialist countries connected by mountains and rivers, Zhao Leji noted, adding that in recent years, bilateral relations have continued to deepen, particularly the increasingly close cooperation and exchanges between the National People’s Congress of China and the National Assembly of Vietnam.
He affirmed his readiness to work with Tran Thanh Man to implement the shared strategic understanding reached by senior leaders of the two Parties and States, enhance cooperation between the two legislative bodies, contribute to the building of socialist rule of law in each country, and promote the construction of a China - Vietnam community with a shared future of strategic significance.

President of the National Assembly of Cambodia Khuon Sudary also sent her congratulations, expressing confidence that under the capable leadership of Tran Thanh Man, the Vietnamese National Assembly will achieve new accomplishments and lay a solid foundation for Vietnam’s goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045.
She also expressed her wish to continue working closely with Tran Thanh Man to further nurture the good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive and sustainable cooperation between the two countries, promoting people-centered collaboration for the shared interests of both nations and their citizens.
