On September 22, Apple Store Vietnam and authorized resellers (AAR) began taking orders for iPhone 15 series. The products will be delivered to customers on September 29.

Unlike previous years, Apple’s new-generation iPhones this year became available in Vietnam just one week after the launch in the world market, and the price gap between the domestic and international markets is narrow. 

CellPhoneS’ Nguyen Lac Huy said these factors would make the demand for iPhone 15 series stronger than iPhone 14. After one week of launching iPhone 15, the number of customers registering to receive information about the new products reached 16,000, or 156 percent higher than for iPhone 14.

Huy predicted that an iPhone 15 supply shortage may occur like other markets which began selling iPhone 15s earlier than Vietnam.

In order to help customers have better experiences, CellPhoneS plans to take limited orders based on the number of products allocated to the retail chain. It warned that it may soon stop taking orders for some colors, including Natural Titanium. 

Nguyen Ngoc Dat, CEO of Di Dong Viet, said the dates for iPhone 15 series to arrive have been fixed. As many as 13,000 people have registered to receive information about the new products.

Di Dong Viet also plans to take limited orders after considering the number of products allocated to it by the manufacturer.

A representative of another AAR said in the first three weeks, the number of IPhone 15s to arrive would be higher than iPhone 14s. It is highly possible that iPhone 15 Pro Max will be in short supply, because many Vietnamese prioritize flagship products rather than other models.

As for FPT Shop, the network reported that the number of clients registering to receive information about the new products has reached VND35,000 (86 percent for iPhone 15 Pro Max, 8 percent for iPhone 15 Pro, 3.5 percent for iPhone 15 and 2.5 percent for iPhone 15 Plus).

FPT Shop and F.Studio by FPT are the retailers given priority in terms of supply every time new iPhones are launched. This allows them to design the most reasonable solutions in logistics and operations to optimize their business from the first days so as to continue to get priority in the next weeks.

In the world market, while iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will be delivered on schedule, iPhone 15 Pro Max are running out.
