In the early morning of September 13 (Vietnam time), Apple launched the new iPhone 15 series including iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max at the Apple Wanderlust event. Of these, iPhone 15 and 15 Pro use 6.1 inch screens, while iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max use 6.7 inch screens.

The Pro version is made of super-durable titanium, using A17 Pro with chip 6-core GPU, 48MP camera with up to 5x optical zoom. The Action button replaces the Ring/Silent switch button. The normal versions use aluminum material, Dynamic Island, A6 Bionic chip with 5-core GPU and dual camera.

Apple Vietnam’s website allowed Vietnamese customers to place orders beginning September 22, while deliveries will arrive on September 29. The prices start at VND22,999,000 for iPhone 15, VND25,999,000 for iPhone 15 Plus and VND28,999 for iPhone 15 Pro. 

The iPhone 15 Pro Max only has the 256GB version and is priced at VND34,999,000.

Vietnamese retailers on September 23 morning quoted expected prices for the iPhone 15 series, with orders from September 22. 

FPT Shop, an Apple Premium Reseller (APR), quotes prices of VND22,990,000 for the iPhone 15, VND25,990,000 for iPhone 15 Plus and VND28,990,000 for iPhone 15 Pro, while iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB is priced at VND34,990,000.

Customers can register now and begin ordering the iPhone 15 Series from September 22 at FPT Shop and F.Studio.

The retailers have announced new sales policies for this year.

If an iPhone in use shows defects from the manufacturer within 12 months since the day the product was activated, customers will get another brandnew, 100 percent sealed product and receive a new 12-month warranty. Previously, customers would get back products they bought after they were fixed.

In theory, customers can receive up to 23-month warranty if products show manufacturers’ defects in the 11th month of use. And they don’t have to wait for defective products to be fixed, but can receive new products at once.

The retailers hope revenue from the iPhone 15 series will be 20 percent higher than the iPhone 14 series.

Meanwhile, at Di Dong Viet (Viet Mobile), an AAR (Apple Authorized Reseller), the expected prices of iPhone 15 series are about VND1 million lower than that set by FPT Shop. 

The reseller said the Pro Max version is the most wanted product among iPhone 15 series. The high-end versions of new iPhone generations are always the most favored by Vietnamese iPhone fans.
