The place has been called Tuyen Quang's Ha Long Bay because of the limestone and beautiful water.

The reservoir is over 3,500 hectares and spread across Na Hang and Lam Binh districts that have many well-known destinations such as Khuoi Slung Waterfall and Nam Me Waterfall.

There's a myth that the limestone amid the reservoir are actually the poles for a hero of Tay ethnic minority group to keep his buffalo.

A tour guide from the Tay ethnic group introduces the history and culture of his group to the tourists from the central region. The tourists are served traditional food on the boat.

During the tour, tourists will get to see the waterfalls and the caves nearby where semi-fossilised remains and thousands of ancient tools dating back to the Hoa Binh (Hoabinhian) Culture, about 10,000 to 16,000 years ago can be found.
