In response to inquiries from VietNamNet, a representative from RMIT Vietnam's leadership explained that the university has seen exceptionally high demand for enrollment at the Hanoi campus.
However, to ensure an optimal experience for students, the school has decided to pause the acceptance of new applications and reservation fees for this particular intake in Hanoi.
Despite the temporary halt in admissions at the Hanoi campus, RMIT Vietnam continues to accept new applications for all programs at its Saigon South and Danang campuses.
"The university will provide further updates after reassessing the enrollment capacity of all existing programs at the Hanoi campus," the representative stated.
RMIT Vietnam emphasized that the university remains fully operational and is licensed to operate at all three campuses: Saigon South, Hanoi, and Danang.
Graduates of RMIT Vietnam receive degrees conferred by RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and these degrees are globally recognized, including in Vietnam and other countries worldwide.
Established in 2000 in Ho Chi Minh City, RMIT Vietnam currently has approximately 12,000 students. The average tuition fee at RMIT Vietnam is about $14,000 per year.
