The case happened at around 3:10 am this morning, July 4, in Hai Ha Commune, Tinh Gia District as five people on three motorbikes plunged into the hole.

Two people are killed and three others injured after falling into a hole in Thanh Hoa Province on July 4

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene. However, two people died and the remaining three were injured and then hopsitalised. All of the victims are local residents.

The two victims were Nguyen Nhu Thang, 47, and his wife Nguyen Thi Tam, 47, from Hai Thuong Commune, Tinh Gia District.

The hole is being fenced off to ensure traffic safety. Dtinews
