The Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOST) has decided to impose anti-dumping duty on Ferro-Silico-Manganese alloys (HS code: 7202.30.0000) imported from India, Viet Nam and Ukraine.

The anti-dumping duty rates applied for manufactures and exporters of Viet Nam, Ukraine and India are 4.06 per cent, 19.06 per cent and 7.4-19.06 per cent, respectively, for five years.
Previously, the Korean Trade Commission (KTC) on December 7, 2016, initiated the anti-dumping investigation on Ferro-Silico-Manganese alloys products imported from Viet Nam, Ukraine and India. The investigation was based on petitions filed by Dongbu Metal, Simpac Metal, Simpac Metalloy and Taekyung Industrial.
The investigation period for dumping is from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. The injury investigation period is from January 1, 2013 to June 30, 2016.
On May 31, 2017, KTC applied the temporary anti-dumping duty at 7.48 per cent for Vietnamese manufactures and exporters.
On September 14, 2017, KTC announced the final results of the anti-dumping duty on this product imported from the three countries at rate ranging from 4.06 to 19.06 per cent. — VNS
