Two naval ships from the Republic of Korea (RoK) carrying 633 officers and sailors arrived in the Tien Sa port on September 18 to start a four-day official visit to the central city of Da Nang.

During their stay, the Korean guests, led by Rear Admiral Yang Yong-mo, commander of the RoK maritime patrol training group, met with leaders of the municipal People’s Committee, the High Commands of the Military Region 5 and Naval Region 3.
They also visited the city’s charity centre and several landscapes in Da Nang, Hoi An of Quang Nam province, and Thua Thien-Hue.
On the occasion, they presented 11,000 Korean language teaching books to Da Nang city’s library and universities.
