The Rolls-Royce Cullinan car has remained unclaimed since being imported in July last year.
According to the customs department at the port, the SUV was sent by Germany-based Hollmann International Company to a company in the Trung Van Urban Area in Hanoi. The Mediterranean Shipping Company had transported it to the port on July 5, 2022.
Last December, the port customs department sent a notice to find the owner after no individuals or organisations came to collect the vehicle. It has remained at the port until now.
Following Vietnam's law, cargo will be auctioned as state assets if the owners fail to claim in over 90 days.
Earlier in 2020 Haiphong customs auctioned a Ferrari after a public notice failed to find its owner for over 90 days.
