Nine female factory workers are worried about their health after being touched by a stranger on the way to work in District 9, HCM City recently.

A masked man touched and stung nine female workers' breasts with a sharp object as they were heading to their company inside High-tech Zone (Tâan Phu Ward, District 9) on December 7.

Police of Tan Phu Ward confirmed with Dantri.vn this morning that they had interviewed the nine women and taken testimonies of two of them.

All victims are reported to be working at company N., High-tech Zone.

The female workers were walking to the company when a masked man approached and touched their breasts.

As they were changing into their uniforms, the victims discovered a tiny bleeding hole on their breasts as if they had been stung by a needle.

The management board of the zone had reported the incident to the police.

All victims from company N. had been taken for health check and HIV prevention at the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases. They got twenty days off as per a doctor's prescription with full salary. All medical expenses will be covered by company N.

Doctors are mapping out suitable treatment method for one victim, who could not take the medicines due to her pregnancy.

Police of Tan Phu Ward is further investigating to identify the culprit.
