Featuring more than 50 carefully selected photographs, the exhibition showcases various springtime moments in Ho Chi Minh City. Each image not only tells stories of memories and traditions but also offers a fresh perspective on a modern, evolving metropolis that continues to preserve its cultural identity.

"This exhibition is my tribute to Ho Chi Minh City - a place that holds countless memories and emotions through 50 vibrant spring seasons. I hope each photograph will instill in viewers a sense of pride and love for their homeland," Tran The Phong shared with VietNamNet.

A journey through photography and time

With 35 years in his career, Tran The Phong has published numerous photobooks capturing life’s essence, including Shadows, Saigon Covid-19, Smiles, Towards Central Vietnam, Saigon’s Rhythm of Life, Portraits, Livelihoods, 45 Days in Switzerland, Light of Life, Overcoming Darkness, Reading the Newspaper, Burden, Street Artists, Paths of Childhood, and Typhoon Chanchu, among others.

The renowned photographer has earned over 200 awards in both artistic and journalistic photography, including 15 prizes in citywide and national press photography contests. He has also received 12 Excellence Awards from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the prestigious Grand Prix Award in Japan, three gold medals from the Trierenberg Super Circuit in Austria, and five Asahi Shimbun medals in Japan.

The exhibition 50 Years of Flower Seasons will be open until February 2, 2025.
