Saigontourist Travel Service Company, a unit of Saigontourist Holding Company, is offering a three-day-two-night tour to Con Dao, a well-known archipelago 120 nautical miles from HCMC, using high-speed passenger boats.

Saigontourist is the first tour operator in Vietnam to operate high-speed boat tours to the island. Tourists will stay at Saigontourist’s hotel or resort during the tour.
On the first day, tourists will travel from Saigontourist Travel Service Company’s office in HCMC to Vung Tau. After reaching Cau Da wharf in Vung Tau, tourists will travel to Con Dao on board Con Dao Express 36 boat, departing at 8 a.m. Measuring 47 meters in length and 12 meters in width, this is the largest passenger boat in Vietnam, capable of carrying nearly 600 passengers.
Tourists will visit Ben Dam Port as the largest port on Con Dao, Ca Map (Shark) Cape, Love Peak - a mountain peak in the shape of a couple, and Nhat Beach with white sand and crystal clear water. They can freely explore the island in the afternoon.
On the second day, tourists will visit Dinh Chua Dao (Island Spirit Palace) which displays documents and photos of Con Dao from French colonial rule to the 2000s, the old Phu Hai Prison, Hang Duong Cemetery, the prison system of Chuong Cop (Tiger Cage) and Chuong Bo (Cow Cage), the temple of Phi Yen, the first wife of Lord Nguyen Anh (King Gia Long, 1762-1820), Mieu Cau-the temple of Lord Nguyen Anh’s son, and Dam Trau Beach with yellow sand and azure green beaches.
Tourists will stay at the Saigon-Con Dao Resort these days.
On the final day, tourists will go shopping at Con Dao Market before coming back to Vung Tau and then HCMC at 1:30 p.m.
The tour will depart on March 12, 19, 26 and April 2, 5, 9, 16, 23.
Con Dao is a tourist attraction renowned for its wild beaches and historical relics. The archipelago includes 16 islands covering a total area of 76 square kilometers. Con Son is the largest island, covering 51 square kilometers. Smaller islands such as Hon Bay Canh, Hon Cau, Hon Bong Lan and Hon Tai are also attractive destinations on Con Dao.
