Samsung has officially announced that its flagship Galaxy S26 series will be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, scheduled to take place on February 25 in San Francisco, USA.
This year’s launch will spotlight the company’s bold leap into artificial intelligence, positioning Galaxy AI as the core innovation driving the next evolution of its premium smartphones.
Vietnamese audiences will be able to watch the event live at 1:00 a.m. on February 26 via Samsung's official digital platforms.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S26 marks a shift toward a more personalized and intuitive user experience. The new AI features are designed to simplify everyday tasks and adapt instantly to individual needs, removing the usual technical barriers that often come with smart devices. From the very first interaction, users are promised a seamless, intelligent experience.
Ahead of the launch, Samsung Vietnam has begun a promotional campaign aimed at early adopters. Those who pre-register before February 25 will receive a shopping voucher worth one million đồng and a limited-edition gift set, which includes a protective case and wireless charger - available while supplies last.
As in previous years, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to include three variants: the standard Galaxy S26, the larger S26+, and the top-tier S26 Ultra. While the design of the phones may see only modest changes, significant upgrades are anticipated under the hood. The standard S26 is rumored to feature a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and a 4,300 mAh battery. Depending on the market, the new devices will be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, built on a 2nm process, or Samsung’s own Exynos 2600.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be the most powerful model in the lineup. It is expected to support up to 16GB of RAM, enabling on-device AI processing for faster, smarter performance. The phone will retain the 200MP main camera but with a wider f/1.4 aperture, promising better results in low-light conditions. Charging speed is also rumored to be upgraded to 60W, offering faster recharging times.
All models in the Galaxy S26 series will ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, and Samsung has confirmed that they will receive up to seven years of software updates - a new standard in long-term device support.
Despite all these enhancements, pricing is expected to remain unchanged from last year. The Galaxy S26 will likely debut at $799, making it a strong contender in the increasingly competitive flagship market.
Samsung’s renewed focus on AI signals a strategic shift. The company aims to transform smartphones from simple communication tools into intelligent assistants capable of learning, adapting, and anticipating users’ needs. Whether this vision will resonate with consumers remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: all eyes will be on February 25.
