The Seaphony orchestra will make its debut at the Vietnam Ethnic Music Concert in the Hanoi Opera House on December 12.
The concert, titled “Night of Indigenous Unconscious” will assemble over 50 artisans, composers and musicians from different ethnic groups across Vietnam.
During the event, the artists will entertain audiences with unique performance of traditional music instruments such as jaw harp, leaf flute, gongs, baranung drum and gineng drum.
In the coming years, artists from Seaphony will travel to South East Asian countries trying to inspire artists there to join the orchestra.
The Seaphony orchestra has delivered three concerts since March. The Vietnamese Ethnic Music Concert at Hanoi Opera House on December 12 will be the combination of best performances of the previous three.
The project is expected to strengthen community connectivity among artisans and artists in the country and the region in order to introduce cultural characteristics of Vietnam and regional countries to the world.
