FLC Thanh Hoa’s executive director Le Thuy Hai has been banned two matches and fined VNĐ5 million (US$220) for foul language during the match last weekend.

Hot-tempered Hai displayed strong reactions and used foul words in a match between Thanh Hoa and Quang Nam to offend referee Hoang Ngoc Ha and his assistants, when Quang Nam’s striker Dinh Thanh Trung scored a hand goal, and Ha still allowed the goal.

The Vietnam Football Federation’s Discipline Department met on July and decided to fine Hai who will have to watch his team from the stands when Thanh Hoa visit Long An this Saturday and host Becamex Binh Duong on July 24.
