The program is organized by VietNamNet newspaper under the direction of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

"The aspiration is that we overcome the pandemic to recover and develop and that has come true. The second aspiration is much bigger: Vietnam will become a developed country by 2045. It is hoped that the concert will ignite this aspiration in every Vietnamese to be a developed, powerful and prosperous Vietnam," said VietNamNet’s Editor-in-chief Pham Anh Tuan.

Since its commencement on September 2, 2009, with 10 live shows at the Hanoi Opera House and two online shows, “Things Everlasting” has become a national event.

After the concert, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said: “The Things Everlasting national concert is a special program. You guys did a great job. The concert was very emotional and meaningful when it took place on September 2 - the Independence Day of the Vietnamese people.”

Chairman of the Central Committee for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts Nguyen The Ky said: “This is my favorite program. I think this is the most luxurious music event of the year. This concert was not only organized at the Hanoi Opera House, but also performed by the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra. It also included famous and meaningful songs and pieces of music of Vietnam.”

“This is the most special program because it took place on the afternoon of September 2 - the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. So, the country, President Ho Chi Minh, the people, and the love for the fatherland, are the things that will last forever,” he said.

Olivier Ochanine, Music Director, Conductor of the Sun Symphony Orchestra, said: “I have had the opportunity to work with many Vietnamese musicians and singers, including artists who performed in the Things Everlasting concert. I love the beautiful tunes that were played today. The singers sang very well. I have lived in Vietnam for 5 years, so I can feel the atmosphere of the Independence Day of the Vietnamese people, from the street to the Hanoi Opera House today. I am very honored to participate in the Everlasting Things concert."
