At least seven workers were injured after scaffolding at a construction site suddenly collapsed on Wednesday morning on southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province’s February-03 Street.

The scaffolding collapsed in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province on Wednesday morning. 

The accident occurred when the workers were concreting the top of the gate of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Vocational Training School. 

The injured were immediately taken to Le Loi Hospital for treatment.

Doctors from the hospital said the most seriously injured worker suffered a spinal cord injury.

Local police are identifying the cause of the incident. Officials from the local authority have rushed to the hospital to visit the victims.
