On the evening of August 2, at the National Convention Center, "Shrek: On National Tour" offered audiences a spectacular artistic experience with explosive music and captivating performances.

"Shrek: The Musical," the renowned Broadway production, previously graced Vietnamese stages in 2023. Following its success, The YOUniverse decided to bring back the show with a new version titled "Shrek: On National Tour."

The musical tells the story of Shrek, an ogre living in isolation in his swamp. His life changes when fairy tale characters are exiled to Shrek's swamp by Lord Farquaad. To regain his privacy, Shrek must return Princess Fiona to Farquaad while discovering self-worth and true love.

With messages about gender equality, social class, appearance, and respecting differences, the musical's team hopes to use art to bridge generational gaps and connect people.
